In 2017, I designed a t-shirt with "I Knit so I Don't Kill People" on it. Everyone in my knit group wanted one. I thought, "there must be other yarn lovers out there that would appreciate my sense of humor or enjoy a little sweary or snarky attitude in their notions and accessories." That was when I placed my Etsy shop on vacation. I did product research, learned more about SEO, and expanded my product line to include snarky notions, apparel that talks the way you actually do and yarn cozies that embodies who you are.

I was very nervous about offending people’s sensibilities with my style of craft notions. I rebranded my shop in August 2022 and in September, I sold my first “Holy Sh!t Balls" yarn cozy and is our most sold yarn cozy to date!
